NewView Oklahoma offers occupational therapy services to maximize your remaining vision. A low vision occupational therapist can identify the best techniques and equipment to improve your level of independence. At the Tulsa Center, you will also find low vision products to check out on loan and to purchase.

Travel Training


Our orientation and mobility (O&M) training gives clients the skills to move safely and confidently around the home, neighborhood, and workplace.

Computer Assisted Technology


Today's technology is opening up new opportunities for blind and visually impaired individuals of all ability levels. Our specialized programs utilize computer technologies to make surfing the internet, sending and receiving emails, or acquiring skills for work accessible to all.

 

Daily Living Skills Training


NewView’s Occupational therapist and our Certified Rehabilitation Therapists provide training in basic daily living skills such as reading, writing, meal preparation and medication management.

 

Retail Store


The Tulsa Low Vision Center is home to the only retail store in the state specializing in low vision equipment and technology. From electronic magnifiers, to white canes, to Braille jewelry, we have tools to keep you safe and independent! Through our partnership with Able Tech, our "try before you buy" program allows you to test the products prior to purchasing.
