Keys to work camp – ages 16 to 22

Keys to Work provides an immersive, hands-on experience with the latest assistive technology and works to teach resume building, interview skills, self-advocacy, and offers networking opportunities with professionals in the Oklahoma City market. Participants in the program also learn independent living skills including cooking, cleaning, organization, and independent travel. Upon completing the program, young adults living with blindness or low vision gain the skills and an individualized plan that will serve as a road map for future success. Campers experience dramatic shifts in perspective as they work with the NewView rehabilitation team to learn essential skills; they leave with the confidence to consider a fulfilling future with a level of independence they never thought possible.
