White Cane Day

Join us in celebrating White Cane Day! 

Explore how a white cane helps people navigate sidewalks, stores, and everyday spaces, and watch mobility demonstrations by our team. You can also discover what your name looks like in Braille, try hands-on games and kitchen activities, and tour our Classen low vision facility.

  • Light refreshments
  • A tour of NewView’s Classen location, showcasing the services we offer to those who are blind or have low vision
  • The chance to ask questions and connect with others in the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community
  • An opportunity to learn how NewView helps individuals achieve greater independence
