On Thursday, September 24, get ready for an extraordinary dining experience at the Agora Event Center, where you’ll savor a beautifully curated meal from Chef Amanda Simcoe and Chef Joel Bein of The Meat and Cheese Show with spectacular wine pairings — all while blindfolded, letting your senses come alive in a whole new way. Let one of NewView Oklahoma’s expert staff members guide you through your meal as you learn about what life is like from the point of view of someone who is blind. This event is designed to be a fun way to raise funds and create awareness for NewView Oklahoma’s mission to empower individuals who are blind or have low vision, maximizing their opportunities for independence through all stages of life.

Last year, NewView Oklahoma delivered more than 7,000 direct service appointments to individuals living with vision loss—including eye exams, assistive technology training, occupational therapy, and orientation and mobility sessions. Through school-based services, summer camps, and immersive vocational training, we’re also equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

And with over 15,000 Oklahomans reached through NewView Oklahoma services, programs, and outreach, we’re working to ensure no one facing vision loss has to do it alone. But demand is rising—and the cost of delivering accessible, high-quality care continues to grow.
