OWL Camp – AGES 8 THROUGH 16
June 28 – July 3, 2026
YMCA Camp Classen
At OWL Camp, kids discover something powerful:
Their vision does not define their limits.
Through adaptive sports, tactile art, team challenges, and real-world independence training, campers build confidence, connection, and lifelong skills — all in a safe, accessible environment designed just for them.
Why OWL Camp Matters
Many traditional camps are not equipped to meet the needs of children with visual impairments. That often means missed opportunities, isolation, or experiences that simply aren’t accessible.
OWL Camp fills that gap.
“OWL camp allowed my son to do things that he never would have been able to safely do at any other camp. Joseph had the most wonderful experience… I cannot thank NewView enough for this opportunity.”
— OWL Camp Parent, Summer 2025

Many campers spend their first night away from home at OWL Camp — a major milestone for both children and caregivers.
Our 2025 survey reported that 100% of parents said their child returned home more self-sufficient and socially confident.
That’s the ripple effect of independence.
