Our Third Thursday Tours and Experience Blindness lunches invite you to step inside NewView Oklahoma and better understand the journey of people navigating vision loss. Through guided tours and immersive experiences, guests gain insight into how our programs empower independence, create meaningful employment, and help Oklahomans with low vision or blindness thrive in everyday life.

Ever thought about making a PB&J sandwich with no sight? Step into the world of someone who is blind or has low vision—literally. During this interactive lunch, guests take part in white cane training, making sandwiches and concludes with a blindfolded lunch, where guests discover how simple tasks, like locating a drink or eating a sandwich, takes on new meaning when vision is removed.

Let us know If you or your organization would like to join us for an Experience Blindness lunch, and we will get in touch with you!

Join us every Third Thursday for a behind-the-scenes look at our life changing programs and services. You’ll learn about low vision rehabilitation and assistive technology, along with our adaptive sports, art enrichment, and youth programs like OWL Camp and Keys to Work.

Tours are held at both our low vision and blindness rehabilitation clinics in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
