"Low Vision" describes a visual impairment that cannot be corrected with glasses, contact lenses, medicine, or surgery. A person with low vision may have difficulty reading, identifying faces, or seeing the television. Typically it is defined as worse than 20/70 acuity or less than a 20 degree visual field.
