About NewView Camps
NewView Oklahoma believes that every child deserves to have a summer camp experience, and that’s why OWL Camp (Oklahomans Without Limits) and Keys to Work were created for children and young adults who are blind or have low vision.
Camp activities are carefully planned and designed to encourage collaboration, improve confidence, self-esteem, independence, and challenge societal and self-imposed limits.
OWL Camp – AGES 8 THROUGH 16
June 28 – July 2, 2026 | YMCA Camp Classen
The OWL campers participate in activities such as rock-climbing, archery, horseback riding, swimming and kayaking. New activities are added every year to create a unique camper experience. OWL Camp is structured specifically to engage sighted children and those with vision loss. The goal is to create a lasting impact that improves camper confidence.
CAMP DATES: June 28 – July 2, 2026
ELIGIBILITY: Campers must be between the ages of 8 and 16 by June 1, 2026
APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 31, 2026
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: First 10 to apply get $15 to the Camp Classen Canteen.

KEYS to Work Experience- AGES 17 THROUGH 22
July 19 – July 31, 2026
The Keys to Work Experience is an immersive, hands on program for youth and young adults preparing for the next stage of life. Participants work alongside NewView’s certified professionals, connect with peers, and build new friendships while growing confidence for the future.
Built around three core pillars, the program focuses on professional development, college exploration, career exploration, and real world life skills. Through engaging activities, participants strengthen resume and interview skills while gaining practical experience that supports independence and future success.
CAMP DATES: July 19 – July 31, 2026
ELIGIBILITY: Campers must be between the ages of 17 and 22 during the scheduled camp dates.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 15, 2026
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: First 5 to apply get a $25 gift card.
