The Path to Freedom event is free of charge and is being held in honor of our Nation’s Veterans, and their families – but you must RSVP to let us know you are coming. In celebration of service, resilience, and perseverance – we invite our Veterans to gather in community with one another. Brothers and Sisters in arms share a unique comradery that comes from a shared experience of sacrifice and service to others. While your tour of duty may have come to an end, one thing has not changed, we are all better together and belong in fellowship with one another.

Does your organization serve veterans?

This event is a great opportunity for other Veteran serving organizations to share their mission and connect with Oklahoma Veterans. Last year’s event hosted 250 Veterans and their families, and we had a “passport” that encouraged Veterans to visit all of the organizations on site to be entered into a drawing for various door prizes. To reserve a free table at this event, click here.

FREEDOM WALK

VETERAN WALK

The Veteran Freedom Walk is for current and past service members only.  The walk itself is approximately one (1) mile in length and will be accessible for anyone that wants to participate.  Walkers can walk the entire path, or take an abbreviated trail. Along the way, we invite you to engage with one another and remember shared experiences and moments of service. 

FAMILY WELCOME

The families of our Veterans are welcome, too! Engage with other family members of service members and help us celebrate our Veterans as they complete the honor portion of their walk.

BANQUET LUNCH 

Join us as we break bread and spend time in community with one another.  The banquet ceremony will be inspiring and honoring of all who have served, including their families. Lunch is free to Veterans, their families, and organizations that serve those who have served – but we do ask that you RSVP to allow for adequate seating and plated lunches.
